Back office teams can assign tasks directly to individual team members for completion, groups of people for all to complete, or groups for the fist available team member to complete.
Let’s run through a quick example: A customer has called you with an urgent maintenance issue that needs looking at today. All of your engineers have been on the road for half the day already. What do you do? You create a task containing the customer and issue details, and assign it to an engineer. No need to call or email your engineer to inform them of the days changes. Or, you send it to the entire team, or a small group, for the first available engineer to pick up the job.
Once the job has been picked up by an engineer it will be removed from the outstanding tasks list for all other users. Or, if it requires more than one engineer to attend, send it to a group for all engineers to complete.
