How we work together:

Using our Dropbox Data Source connector, you can schedule imports to your forms2 Data Sources from files stored in your Dropbox account. Bring new rows in from Excel or CSV files that have been created from other systems or platforms.

Using our Dropbox form connector, you can automatically create new documents from data entries automatically. Save them in a pre-defined or dynamic location with pre-defined or dynamic file names.

Data Source Use Cases

Import a list of Car Seats including manufacturer, model, fitting cost, stock level and safety rating. Use a Listing Screen to select a safety rating to list all Car Seats that match the safety rating. Use an entry from the list to open a Detail Screen to display the full details from the Data Source row.
Use the Detail Screen to create a new Data Entry for fitting the Car Seat, selecting a booking slot, Automatically decrement the stock level and update the Data Source with the new level.
Use our Dropbox Form Connector to store data in CSV, excel, JSON, PDF, Text File, Word, XML file formats.

Data Delivery Use Cases

Save a fully customized PDF report of each new car seat installation by adding a Word template. Include all fields from the data entry for a complete report. Customize the filename to include job ID, customer name and installation date.
Save a fully customized PDF report containing selected fields from the data entry. Customize the filename with the job ID and an automatically calculated date for the next inspection, based on the original installation date.
