What is Google Sheets?

Google Sheets is cloud native and allows you to create and collaborate on online spreadsheets in real-time, make data-driven decisions safely and securely, all from any device.

How we work together:

Our Google Sheets Data Source connector can pull existing data from your sheets into Data Sources to be used by your mobile apps and forms. Pull data from your sheets with a timed refresh so your most up to date data is always available to your mobile teams.

Our Google Sheets Form connector works alongside Google Workspace and can push data captured by your field teams directly into your Google Sheets. Choose from a variety of destinations including personal and Team drives. Automatically create new sheets and push selected fields to columns.

Data Source Use Cases

  • Pull a list of customers in to a data source, use the data source to drive a Choices field for app users to be able to select the customer name from a dropdown list, and populate additional customer fields automatically.
  • Pull a list of current projects with associated customer details, use the data source to drive a Data field and filter projects related to a previously selected customer that are displayed to the app user.

Data Delivery Use Cases

  • Create a new Google Sheet for a customer once a project update has been submitted. Use the captured project reference to name the sheet and use the captured customer name as part of the folder path.
  • Add new entries for a Customer Project update to an existing or previously automatically created sheet, to build up a complete history for each customer.
