Data collection and team collaboration: 44%

Data collection and team collaboration were vital aspects that the agriculture sector wanted to improve using mobile apps.

Why?

Because farmers and agricultural professionals can really take advantage of low-code tools to collect data on crop yields, report on weather conditions, and make accurate soil analysis comparisons by accessing multiple streams of data. This information can then be easily shared with team members, allowing for better decision-making and more efficient use and allocation of resources.

Client services and reporting: 22%

Another key finding in our Low Code Platform Statistics survey was that Agriculture professionals wanted to provide excellent client services and generate comprehensive reports their clients could use.

Low-code/no-code business apps enable agricultural professionals to create easy-to-understand reports for their clients, incorporating photos, georeferenced features, and other essential information like cattle health, crop yield, pest control – you name it.

Additionally, implementing digital onboarding solutions and internal ordering systems can help agricultural businesses improve their overall operation making client/staff onboarding easier and even automating stock and feed replenishment.

Going paperless and work planning: 11%

Going paperless and “integrating digital work planning tools” are becoming increasingly important for agricultural professionals – because trying to find a piece of paper in the middle of the field or taking accurate geo data on paper is not always possible.

By using mobile forms and agriculture business apps to record data and observations during site visits, such as vineyard assessments, farmers can reduce their environmental impact and provide far more accurate reports complete with images, and accurate locations.

The agriculture industry is quickly turning to mobile forms and mobile business app builders to improve productivity across the globe so it makes sense that the earlier adopters set themselves up for success.

So what’s the big takeaway here?
